Under this newly passed piece of garbage, unmarried victims of domestic assault will no longer be able to press domestic assault charges on their partner, since that would involve the government recognizing their union.

My Mom has Cancer
Well, actually, she might not.
She has undergone months of aggressive chemotherapy and radiation and suffered all the side effects you can think of.
She had a CT scan last month to see how she responded to treatment, and the scan came back clean. The doctors couldn’t find any sign of the cancer.
There will be another CT scan this Tuesday. If it is clear again, Mom will be one step...
